How To Select A Dealer

A checklist to help you choose the right dealer

  1. It is a good idea to check the background of a dealer before letting them into your home. Check with friends and neighbors, call the better Business Bureau, and find out what associations they may belong to as members in good standing. Arronco belongs to the Better Business Bureau , and has been in business since 1984. They have installed thousands of systems throughout the tri-state and Lexington/Louisville area.
  2. Learn about the training and experience of the dealer, and visit their office to see who you are buying from. Some dealers have ongoing training programs in house and with the suppliers. By keeping up with the latest products and programs you can be assured they will select the best and most competitive air comfort products for your home. Arronco sale's people and technicians receive the latest training available on all aspects of the home comfort industry, and pass that knowledge on to you.
  3. Always ask for references. There is no better reference than a customer who has done business with the dealer. They will tell you the good and possibly bad, plus you can ask questions that may pertain to your own situation. Arronco will always offer references. They have a large base of satisfied customers throughout the tri-state area.
  4. Make sure the dealer will do an onsite evaluation before making a recommendation and providing pricing. Without an onsite evaluation it is impossible to properly determine the load calculations which can cause an undersized or oversized system both of which can be costly to purchase and to operate. Every home is different and your needs may be different. By doing the evaluation over the phone,, or online many important personal issues may be missed such as allergies, elderly, babies in the home and many other air comfort conditions. Arronco trained and experienced sales representatives will always make an evaluation onsite, and ask the right questions to fully understand your indoor air comfort needs. This allows them to select the most cost effective systems available.
  5. There are some fly by night dealers in all towns. Be sure to verify their business licenses. Make sure they meet all state and local requirements, insurance for liability and workmen’s compensation. Some shady dealers can leave you stuck with large bills if work is not completed, employees are injured, property is damaged, etc. Arronco complies with all State and local requirements, and will be happy to show you records of applicable licenses and insurance.
  6. Be careful of sloppy or incomplete proposals. Make sure you get a detailed written proposal for all work to be done with clear pricing, timelines, and warranties. Finding after the fact that certain items were not included, or will be at an additional cost can cause considerable delay as well as much higher cost. Arronco will provide a detailed proposal with everything that is included, and possibly noting items that will not be included. A clear estimate of completion will also be included as well as a copy of the warranties included or available at additional cost.
  7. Be sure you understand the warranties discussed, and who is responsible for what. Many limited warranties by the manufacturer can be confusing, or hard to understand. If the dealer offers a warranty on his work make sure it is writing. Arronco provides information on all warranties pertaining to the work involved and will be happy to explain them in detail.
  8. Ask your dealer if they offer preventative maintenance programs to keep your system operating at the maximum efficiency. This is one of the best ways to keep your new equipment operating at peak efficiency, and reduce the possibility of catastrophic failure. Arronco offers a number of preventative maintenance programs, and seasonal tune-ups to keep your complete indoor air system running at maximum efficiency, quietly, and trouble free.

Testimonials

Dear Arronco

In late June, Arronco installed a dual fuel heat pump in my home. Mr. Tim Schulte was the installer.

It was a rainy, muddy day. Mr. Schulte took great care to lay down cardboard strips between the driveway and the work site. He also put down drop cloth throughout the interior work area of the house. Then he cleaned his shoes each and every time before entering the house.

Mr. Schulte was both personable and professional in his work efforts. I probably asked too many questions, but he answered them in every day terms I could understand. The installation was a positive experience.
