No Outdoor Unit
With a geothermal unit, everything except the loop is indoors and the outdoor unit is eliminated. You can now enjoy those evenings on the deck without listening to a noisy air conditioner running.
Twice the Lifespan of Conventional Equipment
Since a geothermal system is located indoors and not exposed to the varying outside temperatures, they have about double the lifespan of conventional systems, and the loop will last a lifetime!
Free Hot Water
Geothermal systems also make hot water. When the unit is operating in the cooling mode, heat is taken from your house and put into your hot water tank. When heating, excess heat from the compressor is captured and utilized in making hot water.
