Energy Efficiency Incentives

The Greater Cincinnati Energy Alliance (GCEA) provides incentives that help make comprehensive home energy audits and the resulting home energy improvements more affordable. These incentives are available for customers in Hamilton, Boone, Kenton and Campbell counties.

 

Home Energy Audit Incentives

Customers that live in Hamilton, Boone, Kenton and Campbell counties can request a home energy assessment and pay only $50.00. The $50.00 home energy audit cost is reimbursable when you invest in a home energy improvement.

Home Energy Improvement Incentives

Once you receive your home energy audit and receive a list of home energy improvements, the Energy Alliance provides incentives and low-interest loan options to help improve your home and reduce your monthly utility bills.

  • Choose between a 35% Energy Alliance incentive or apply for a low-interest loan combined with a 15% home energy improvement incentive.
  • Incentives are available toward any of the energy saving measures found on your post-assessment report, including high-efficiency upgrades for your heating and air conditioning systems once you complete all recommended insulation and air sealing measures.
